Biography
Ben Rooney is an attorney at Rooney Law, P.C., where he gives clients responsive, practical legal counsel. The aim is advice that is technically sound and that actually helps people move forward.
Ben brings extensive experience across community association law, civil litigation, and commercial real estate. He has spent his career working with community associations, property managers, businesses, and real estate professionals navigating complex legal challenges, and he approaches every matter with the same commitment: understand the client's goals, develop a clear strategy, and execute it efficiently.
Ben believes that effective legal counsel should be practical, not purely academic. Whether he is drafting a complex declaration amendment, advising a board on fiduciary duties, or closing a commercial property transaction, his goal is always to protect his clients' interests while driving the matter to a successful, cost-effective resolution.
A graduate of DePaul College of Law (2011) and Iowa State University, where he earned a B.S. in Political Science, Ben is licensed in Illinois and has been admitted to the Northern District of Illinois federal court. He is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association.
Outside the office, Ben enjoys watching his children in their activities, attending concerts, and rooting for Iowa State football.
